Haračić + Partners d.o.o. represents a major German bank headquartered in Germany in a case involving a forged money transfer order sent from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the German bank, which executed the transfer in good faith. Upon discovering that the order was forged, the German bank refunded the amount to its client and reported the illegal activity to the competent authorities.
Before the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, Haračić + Partners d.o.o. successfully conducted civil proceedings for compensation for damages against the individual who sent the forged transfer order from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the bank. A final and binding judgment was obtained in favor of our client – the bank based in Germany.
