Delila Islamović

Legal professional associate

The Legal Trainee Delila Islamović graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo in 2020. During her studies, she distinguished herself as a member of the Iudex Competition team and achieved significant success in prestigious competitions, including third place at the Monroe E Price Media Law Moot Court Competition 2020. As a member of the same team, she participated in the Regional Competition for Trial Simulations before the European Court of Human Rights and won first place, and subsequently triumphed at the Trans-European Moot Court Competition in Strasbourg.

In November 2023, she received her Master’s degree as part of the partnership program between the University of Sarajevo and the University of Bologna under the title European Regional Master’s Program for Democracy and Human Rights in South East Europe (ERMA). She also obtained a Master’s degree in Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo in 2024 at the Department of Constitutional Law and Public International Law.

Parallel to her legal career, she is also active in the field of art. Her poetry is not only an expression of creativity, but also a means of understanding the subtleties of language and attention to detail – skills that she transfers precisely to her legal work. Her violin playing, on the other hand, symbolizes the harmony between discipline and creativity and underlines the importance of balance and precision within a legal context.
