After completing his studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Sarajevo, the Lawyer Rašid Haračić spent 4 years in Austria, where in 2008 he practiced at the District Court in Vienna (Bezirksgericht Leopoldstadt) and at the St. Pölten Regional Court, Austria, (Landesgericht St. Pölten).
Upon his return to Bosnia and Herzegovina, he worked in a local company of an international group based in Austria, namely WIG Wietersdorfer Holding GmbH, Klagenfurt, Austria and later Schmid Industrieholding GmbH, Waldegg – Wopfing, Austria, where he worked as an in-house lawyer. He has been registered as a lawyer with the Bar Association since 2018. He actively uses English and German in his work.
In his spare time, he enjoys trail running. As a member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team, he took part in the World Trail Running Championships in the Portuguese city of Miranda do Corvo (Abutres Trail World Championships 2019 – TWC 2019 – June 9, 2019).
He is currently in the preparation phase for Dacia UTMB® Mont-Blanc 2024 – TDS. The TDS stands for Les Traces du Duc de Savoy (“In the footsteps of the Duchy of Savoy”). The route starts in Courmayeur in Italy and circles Mont-Blanc on the west side to finish in Chamonix in France. It has over 9000 meters of total ascent.
